Buffer Overflow

Buffer overflow is a computer process which shows a peculiar behavior due to the stored data exceeds the capacity of buffer memory. used by the buffer overflow is not responsible for the weakness of the buffer overflow exploit this. The weakness of this type can be used in remote access or local access, because it can give the attacker the opportunity to melanjarkan moves by coding the target computer.

Buffer overflow attacks occur when the attacker provides a redundant input on the program on the run, so that the program had overloaded and unable to allocate memory. This gives the attacker an opportunity to override that data on the program and download an executable program kontroll takeover attacker.

As a result of buffer overflow can crash the program menyebatkan, or invite the attacker to execute commands or bad coding to control the target system, such as the purpose of taking over the root account using the buffer overflow. Buffer is provided on the memory allocation such as arrays or pointers in C.
